R.I.P. Bishop Moses Madywabe of Khahlamba

The Diocese of Khahlamba in the Eastern Cape, and the Province, were shocked to hear of the sudden death of the Right Revd Moses Madywabe, Bishop of the Diocese, this week. He was elected Bishop in 2017. The following letter was sent to Bishops and Vicars-General of the Province:

In loving memory of Bishop Moses Thozamile Madywabe

It is with great, profound and deep sadness that we convey the untimely death of dear Bishop Moses Thozamile Madywabe.

Bishop Moses was called to higher office last night, around 21h20.

Please keep his dear wife, Mrs.Thembisa Madywabe, his children, grandchildren, and his immediate family in your prayers during this most difficult and sad time.

Once funeral details have been finalized, they will be shared with the bench of Bishops and Vicars General.

Rest eternal grant unto Bishop Moses, oh Lord, and let light perpetual shine upon him.
