Praying for the election of new MU President

PRAYER FOR PROVINCIAL PRESIDENT ELECTION (Mothers’ Union)

Lord God, We praise you and give thanks
For all the blessings you have showered upon us for the past years as the Provincial MU.

We come before your throne of grace for guidance by the Holy Spirit, as we are preparing for the elections of the new leadership.

We thank you for our dear sisters,
Maria van Staden and Nokuzola Nopece for accepting nominations and for their families.

We pray for discernment so that we may choose leaders who hear your Word,
live your love and keep in the ways of your truth.

We also pray for the delegates who will be bringing the voices of ALL the members,
That they may deliberate and discuss matters that will change the lives of people.
In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
