The 4th & 5th August is noted with thanks for our prayers for the Election of the Bishop of Swaziland. We pray for the two candidates Revd Charles Mhlaba Kunene and The Very Revd Advent Nhlanhla Dlamini. We pray more for Wisdom and Discernment. Stay blessed and protected, strengthened by the Holy Spirit in all your many tasks! +Bethlehem. We are on our knees as Emaswati that God give us a person of His heart. A leader who will love the flock and build a united team of the clergy. We pray for our Archbishop that He and his ACSA team travel well to our beautiful country and that they be safe from the COVID and from anything which might be against them. We are also praying for the safety of all those who will travelling within the country to the elective assembly. Prayers are with both of them. May the Holy Spirit lead those will be leading and giving guidance and make these days be blessed and successful as the Lord needs. We wish to give an assurance that the ESWATINi diocese is in our daily prayers during this time of the spirit of election of a new bishop .May God guide them and direct them. As God appointed David the King; when none thought he was going to be King, we are Praying for our sister Diocese. May God give the church; a relevant leader and a person who will have an ear for God’s instruction. Like Samuel the Judge may President of the assembly together with the discernment team may they be will vessels for God’s will to his Church. It remains a worry to the Anglican community in eSwatini that we hope a new person and humility sensitivity to the church in the kingdom. God give the people of eSwatini a true servent who is called to serve not to be served! I think a full investigation should be done in this Diocese so a comprehensive approach will be forged to have a Christ like church.
