Categories Provincial Notices New head for Anglican Board of Education Post date 16th Mar 2021 The Archbishop has approved the appointment of the Revd Jacques Pretorius to succeed the Revd Roger Cameron as Executive Director of the Anglican Board of Education (ABE). His appointment was recommended by the ABE. He will take office on Maundy Thursday. He was ordained in the Diocese of Natal in 1993, where he served six years as Rector of Howick and briefly as chaplain at St Anne’s Diocesan College. From 2010 to 2018 he was one of the chaplaincy team at St John’s College in Johannesburg, and Head of Divinity. He has also served as a governor at Michaelhouse school and on the Board of St Mary’s, Waverley. He is also a member of the Archbishop’s Commission on Racism in Anglican Church Schools.
