Please honour this restriction, and use our titles / memorabilia / website resources in a responsible manner.

 

Acknowledging copyright – Printed material – for single services/booklets

 

The text of An Anglican Prayer Book 1989 in particular, and other publications in general, may be copied and printed within the parishes of the Anglican Church of Southern Africa, without an application for copyright permission or payment of a fee, provided such editions conform to the following conditions:

 

1.      The copies made are used for an occasional / single service.

 

2.      The text must not be altered in any way.

 

3.      The rubrics (in-text instructions for use) are followed.

 

4.      The copies are produced for non-commercial reasons, and will not be sold.

 

5.      Or, (if not as in 1 above) in the case of reproduction for repeated / regular use, permission should first be sought from the Publishing Committee and when obtained the diocesan bishop should be informed.  Further, the initial print-run should not exceed 200 copies.  And then, for every reprint thereafter permission should be obtained from the Publishing Committee.

 

6.      The name of the parish, team or group ministry, cathedral or institution is to be shown on the front cover (or first page if there is no cover) with the date of the service (or date of printing, if the service is intended for repeated / regular use).

 

7.      The correct copyright acknowledgment must be clearly indicated on the copy (see examples of wording below).

1.         Such reproduction is for non-commercial purposes only and otherwise complies (in so far as they can apply in the context of a web publication) with the conditions set out above.
